Agreed - this is such a good record.
The album contains some superb tracks and I think it's virtually as good as Still Life (although it's not quite as good as Blackwater Park).

You cannot give me mind-blowing riffs and drumming and expect me to think it is the greatest thing in the world after I heard better riffs on their past albums.
Does... not.. really.. make... sense? If it's a mind-blowing riff, isn't is a mind-blowing riff? That's like telling me that Back in Black is a terrible album because it's not *quite* as good as Highway to Hell. Does that make Back in Black a terrible album? No! Same thing here; it doesn't make sense to judge this poorly based on the group's previous work, if the reviewed work on its own is of superb quality.

I thought still life was a bit boring. Lyrics are far too literal, making the clean sections seem a little corny at times, and most of the songs bore me.. I pretty much hate White Cluster.

^Magneta. I love Ghost of pertition, but as soon as I heard watershed I felt that they were falling (though they are still amazingly epic) add to that the fact that Lindgren left too... I hope it all doesn't fall apart when Mikael does his solo thing.
