I heard that its going to have a much more Death Metal feel to it. Even though all their albums except Damnation have Death Metal in them, i still want to hear if they make like a full Death Metal album, which they've never done.

If you go on youtube there is a video of one of their new songs live. Its very very good, definitely much more death metaly but in no way just a straight up death metal album. Think of the Heaviest Opeth you can find, add more heaviness and a shredding solo and thats the new song. I dont see how Mikael's cleans are just good, and some say unemotional, he is honestly my favorite vocalist.
