I don't the the band would mind, all members have since moved on and it's not like they started Weakling to make any money anyways.

Download it, and then if you really think it's worth it, seek out to buy it.

I have only heard one song off of this so far. I thought it was pretty good.

Ohhh, yeah I thought you meant "the young, new band can't be just staright up Death Metal" kinda thing. But, no I didn't hear any predominant breakdowns on the entire album.

Brees are hardcore.

Anyway, great album, not hardcore in any way/shape/form, good review.

Also, hating JFAC is trendy.

Despite this thread turning into a 'trendy' JFAC hating/deathcore lets make up more core genres discussion, don't be afraid to hit the vote button.

This band is fucking terrible. His lows sound like he has downs syndrome. The lyrics are terrible. Their music is nothing other than what seems to be an eternity of "chug chug chug breeee breeee"

This album is way more than I expected. It's funny how i havent seen anyone call this deathgrind yet, i mean, the grind influence is clear but im not sure if its enough to be called deathgrind (The new cattle decapitation album is the same way).

I really thought Doom was bad. When I saw these guys with cannibal corpse and heard some of the new songs, i figured it might be worth checking out, and boy was i right. 6 months from now i probably wont listen to this album very much, but it was well worth the $13 i payed for it.

No, this isn't deathgrind at all. Its straight up modern Death Metal. I can't hear any grind at all in any of JFAC's Ep's or this.

I suppose genre barriers don't really matter that much, but these blazing tempos and drumming make me think of the old Assuck and Brutal Truth albums. I do kind of agree though, if this were to be called deathgrind, more emphasis needs to be put on the "death" part. This Message Edited On 05.18.07

I'm not crazy about this band, but I do like Doom better than this cd, but IDK, maybe it will grow on me

Not a question of "if", but a question of "when"
