BTW I just realized that the buildup and climax to charging the void is probably the closest thing to a sexual climax ever done in music

I reckon Death should be in the similar bands section. Just my 2 cents, leave it on the ground if you wish

I agree tbh. Despite the space themes, I actually hear more Death in their music than I do Voivod

always thought the Voivod comparison was overstated, at least in regards to the end result rather than overall sphere of influence... yeah Voivod are important and at play here because 'thrash', but it doesn't sound a whole lot like 'em, so?
Anyone would think Vektor blatantly ripped them off reading some of the nonsense I've witnessed on here.

Never understood the Voivod comparison. The connection is graphic/aesthetic at best.

the first thing I thought of when I heard these guys for the first time is that they're carrying Chuck's torch, so yeah definitely a good comp

That Terminalist album is pre cool, tx 4 the rec. Vektor influence is pre obvious but not as blatantly epigonic as with Vexovoid.
On another note, Prospector McGovern's Apsu's latest/debut has a sound dose of Vektor in it, making the circle complete.

Yup I always thought they were comparable. Haven't digged new Absu enough though, but it is very Absu and that is good in itself.
