You can compare them for quality of course but they are completely different albums so it's strange to compare their actual content (granted, that may not be what Art was talking about)
Like you can compare an ambient album and a pop album in terms of how good they are but aside from that how can you compare them? This and TKOL isn't quite as drastic as that but I think it's a similar case.

Yea only way to compare this and TKOL is through personal preference really

only way to compare this and TKOL is to know that this is better

"only way to compare this and TKOL is to know that this is better"
pretty much
this album actually clicked with me right away, the drum & guitar sound of "Airbag" alone was enough to do that, the sound of this thing in general, really. a coupla songs I might not have been as crazy about right away but as a whole it was just so satisfying

Exit Music through to Karma Police is probably the best 3 song run of their career.
|
| |
If Exit Music wasn't so boring i could consider it.
|
| |
Dunno about boring - austere might be the word I'd use? Can get why it'd be viewed as such I suppose, I just disagree.
|
| |
Fair enough mate, personally i prefer Lucky and The Tourist for their best run of songs here.

the tourist is one of the weaker tracks for me tbh (still a good track). id say my favorite run of songs on here are the first 3. but ya really cant go wrong with most anything on here
