i think its more than likely the lorde remix ends up being looked at as the most significant track to come out of the entire brat era in 5-10 years
also i don't see the problem with remixes lmao. if they are good they are good and everyone is happy, if they are not they are instantly forgotten who cares.
and idk how she is gaming her streaming numbers when she releases all her remixes as singles (or a standalone project in the case of 1999). she's not tacking them onto her albums and its not like they're replacing the album versions either.

Lady Gaga’s Chromatica Remix album has some really quality stuff for the anti remix crowd - the Rain on Me and Sine from Above remixes especially match/surpass the originals

Yoo this Chromatica remix is fire, y'all were right

This is a very solid album, but all the 5s are wild to me. An album with Club Classics on it can never be a 5.

360 into Club Classics is a godlike opening fs

Don't get the love for Club Classics. 360 and Sympathy are the killer one-two punch.

360 I don’t like. Club Classics is kind of amazing and kind of not, but when the synth builds at the beginning is so thrilling

weird+bad take. Sympathy is the best song of the three, but hits much harder after Club Classics. too much weight it on its own, needs some grease and energy to get shit rolling after 360's featherweight chorus
and likewise Club Classics, which kicks off fast but kinda burns out, benefits massively from Sympathy on the other side

I like sympathy it feels like a little nugget, “well-written”. I agree with club classics petering out—the synth slam at the beginning is so obviously delectable that the decision not to reintroduce it and to go out that way feels like an Artist move, but the song could probably be better treated otherwise

Yah its the opening run into Talk Talk that succeeds as a whole, most of those songs don't work nearly as well isolated (except Sympathy and I guess 360), which is fine because they're hella complimentary to each other

^^
Which is why they're the best songs lol. An album like this shouldn't need companion pieces to elevate one song or another. Club Classics being the "worst" of the starting 3 doesn't make it any better because it leads in to the superb "Sympathy"
Club Classics is just so...basic? Singing "yeah club classics, gotta have my club classics. yeah club classics..." for 2 and a half minutes is now an automatic skip for me. Give me 360, Sympathy, von Dutch, TalkTalk, and 365 on loop and I'm a happy camper.
