This rocks so hard. Space Dementia is probably my fav, but tons of bangers here.

I respect this album more than I enjoy it if that makes sense. 4.3 is the perfect rating because I know damn well it's a 4.5, but I'm always tempted to lower my rating to a 4. No denying the artistry here, but they really hit their stride on Absolution which is their best all around album.

Micro Cuts forever one of the best "fuck you I can never sing along to this ever" songs and also yeah I remember a few of the XX version songs sounding great but that one in particular being completely ruined and largely the reason I just stick w/ the original entirely at this point

Isn't Screenager completely underrated or what

Literally cannot comprehend people claiming Absolution beats this. Like what. Not a single skip on this pup. Even the singles aren't complete radio fodder.
This feels like a cohesive work of art versus a band gearing up for commercial success and streamlining their sound. Also think Absolution has one or two too many tracks near the end.

Absolution beats the shit out of this

indeed, Absolution was the album they were supposed to make, their calling card. Listening to Muse in 2026 for their 'art' (like they're in any way revolutionary lol) feels like a fool's errand.
