whereas Absolution's singles (okay there are a lot but 'most' of them) represent highlights, the best tracks on here are found elsewhere - Map of the Problematique, Assassin & City of Delusion, then even Exo-Politics & Hoodoo make up tier 2 (I'd put Knights & Supermassive somewhere here).
I've never understood the love for Starlight and overexposure has only compounded that distaste and Invincible sounds godawful now lol

Depends where you were in the world.... Muse wasn't globally as popular as Greenday, SOAD or Linkin Park during this era. So most of this were never played on the radio

weird cos you'd think a song like Starlight would be way more radio friendly than your average SOAD hit lol
yeah, I'm specifically talking about the U.K. and Starlight is played ad nauseam. There seems to be a hold over from this era of U.K. music where it's lumped in with all that new wave of british indie / post-punk and post-britpop nonsense (whereas many of their other historic hits are confined to slightly more specific places). Starlight is the Muse anthem they roll out time and time again either on the radio or on playlists heard in public places etc.
