Wake Me is completely saved by that synth line in the chorus. Chris really saves a lot of songs. As I listen to this, I like it more. I get the hate, but this album is really good for what it is.

They’ve just completely abandon everything they used to be. And like you said, it’s hardly the Christian thing because they were done with that on Disambiguation. Like they can’t fathom why people would be upset by the new stuff or their current attitude. The 2.5 review summed it up just about perfectly
