I got a big bias for this band for their earlier stuff, think their best albums are Brand New Eyes and s/t, s/t is underrated, After Laughter I wasnt too impressed with

At this point, I think I'd go BNE > AWKIF > S/T > AL > Riot. That's probably the worst ranking you'll ever see but :p

This album still hasn't worn off on me. The slow songs are placed so well in the tracklist.

Also side note, did anyone notice that "Pool" opens very similar to "Tunnel of Love" by Bruce Springsteen. If that was intentional, that's pretty boss (pun intended).

This sounds sweet on vinyl dudes.

Easily their best album and Pool is their best song.

The lyrics for pool are on point. Beautifully devastating.

I will say it's probably not their best song, or not my personal favorite. I like 26. That one hits different.

Their 2000s albums sound very of their time and I don't listen to much of that kind of music in the same way anymore. I prefer the style of this, sounds like they grew out of their angsty teenage years in a way.

they're still quite angsty tbh, but now the aesthetic is pretend-happy
