@eclipse, that actually sounds about right. Sci fi feels wiser, more reflective etc, while Daisy is wild, aggressive, experimental and rambunctious.
I honestly probably would have preferred Daisy at some point but, in my mid 30s now, Sci fi just speaks to me more.

Sci fi And TDAG are my favorites and pretty damn close — both 5s. Deja is next for me — 4.5. Then Daisy 4, and YFW at a 3 (I think).

Top three are Devil and God, Daisy, and Sci Fi on my end.

@tectactoe I have 0 nostalgia for YFW, just find SciFi very long winded, inconsistent quality-wise (2 or 3 amazing songs and the rest of the tracklist is just serviceable), and pretty boring by the standards theyve set for themselves

YFW is overhated. Its nothing special but its still a good piece of early 2000s Pop Punk. Jude Law and A Semester, The Shower Scene, and The No Seatbelt Song fuck gud.

@TheWonder; that’s fair, my comment was kind of dickish, I meant more from a personal perspective, YFW would only rank higher-than-last if I was feeling incredibly nostalgic that day. But your criticisms of SF are fair, and I can totally see how some of the tracks kind of muddle into the middle ground below the handful of standout tracks.

Mixtape is another solid track off YFW.

@tectactoe I didn't think your comment was dickish at all, just wanted to provide a rebuttal haha
To be fair, if I was a lyrics person, I'd like SciFi more. But lyrics mean absolutely nothing to me if I dont click with the music first

Hot/weird take: Logan to Government Center is best YFW by some distance.
(And not to be mistaken, I *like* YFW, I just think it ended up paling in comparison to their subsequent releases; for some reason, for me, it doesn’t have the longevity that everything else has to some degree.)

I thought everyone agreed with that last bit

Yeah it’s just not nearly as good as their other albums. And honestly not very representative of them as a band overall.

yeah no Soco runs circles around the rest of YFW, though Logan to Gov't Center is relatively underrated (I'd take it over Seventy Times Seven, personally)

Soco is one of the weakest off of YFW imo

It’s about smack dab in the middle for me. No Seatbelt and Mixtape are probably my two favorites.
