ahaha the tracks vary more and riff more I guess, but in the end the main reason may be that I listened to this one 3/4 times already, and Sunbather only once (today tbh) so I think it may grow

About Baby Blue - maybe ppl think it sucks cause it looks a bit simple, but I can't get pass the slow open chord riff followed by the solo without closing my eyes for a bit...then the kinda mean palm muted part right before all the BM stuff comes in exploding

To reiterate all points more or less:



Generally feels rushed; random out-of-tune guitar leads pop up quite a few times

Repetitive chugging feels like they had one new idea and just stapled it on haphazardly

Solo in Baby Blue is trash

Last track feels like they really rushed it, the transitions from light to heavy are very poor and could be been edited better. Feels like whiplash.

There are just enough awkward little things in most of the songs that, when they occur, completely take me out of the music because of how obvious and numerous they are.
