Tbf it's hard to pick worst. They all could be the highlight of any other band's discog. Easily one of my top 5 favorite bands ever

There is an argument for everything except panopticon and celestial being their best

And thats not a diss on pan or celestial, its just fax

Celestial is their heaviest most immense alb but it was immatured and unrefined, they hadn't evolved yet

Panop is amazing but Oceanic is just the better choice of the two just off of conceptual depth

WR, ITAOT, and OCEANIC are all fine #1 choices imo

radiant would be higher in my personal ranking if they didnt decide to be jerks and exclude pliable foe and way through woven branches

If those two were included, then WR would be an undisputed 5/5.

People should appreciate just how good Stone to wake a serpent and Hand of the host really are, WR is an undisputed 5

WR is a high 9 out of 10 for me, I just think it'd be even better if those two songs were added.

I love ToT as a closing track so I would agree with you if they added those 2 after 20/40 or Stone.. I guess? Kinda hard not to mess the track list, which is another underappreciated thing about this band, they just make perfect track lists which makes their albums worth listening to in full

Ahhh, I see what we're doing. But would you add those 2 songs if you had to omit 2 of the existings? If so, which 2?

Hand of the Host and Stone, ez. everything else on that album is perfect (and the sequencing is also perfect, so no switches plz)

People not appreciating just how good Hand and Stone are makes me a very sad grizzly bear

I mean they're good (esp Stone, the guitar fuckage around the 2/3rds mark is fab) but they can't hold a candle to the bookend pairs (4 of the best 10 Isis songs, right there)

That post rockish part near the end? One of the best Isis moments ever, can't just delete that from their last album
