I gotta listen to some of the more recent albums more. Maybe I'll be listening to CC for the rest of my life too ;)

I'd take violence unimagined over this any day. Not to mention kill and torture. This is good but bottom of the pack as far as later era corpse goes for me. Don't really understand the jerking for it here. I typically see it called a pretty average corpse record alot of places as well. Something about the production here rubs me wrong it's too clean for corpse (they changed from rutan on the boards for this one I think mark lewis produced it then they went back to rutan) I never loved the way it sounds. Not to mention the odd artwork that doesn't even look like corpse art

Haha it happens. I know a lot of people really like this one Im just one of ones that don't as much so. Idk man something about the more polished production/mix and non gory art I always put this on and it feels kinda tame tbh. Glad this is the only record they did with lewis on the boards

I disagree as well but it’s all good when it comes to the corpse. Production wise, this is my favorite.

Yeah its just a bit different for them sound wise it sounds a bit different than any other record they did. I've seen different ppl say they love the way it sounds and seen others like myself they don't vibe with it as much. All good we were all blessed with different ears. The songs here are good tho funeral cremation is top tier corpse for me

Hollowed Bodies. Corpse loves putting the sickest track at the close

that's actually not true but their closing tracks are usually top 3 on the record for me

Fuck yeah man, This deserves a 5. That opener AND closer are some of the best CC tracks.

And Funeral Inception goes so goddamn hard.
