Not my favorite album of theirs but "Velvet Covered Brick" is probably their best song. I get a musical boner every time.

This is really good. "We Are Destroyer" is my favorite here.

lol it seems true though. this thread is dead. maybe it's just that no one posts here without me being here to constantly bump it? idk
and yeah i get you, i was super active my 1st year as well (2 years ago) and now i hardly come on. and yeah midterms and trying to pick a summer internship and research and stuff here too. enjoying being 21 as well. and being depressed about the state of my romantic life with valentine's day in almost a week. goddamn it lol.
i hardly even have time for music. haven't played piano or guitar in so long and i haven't listened to anything new since lowborn lol

toxin, I'm sort of in a similar situation. I used to comment here all the time, then high school started and I didn't have any time to go on. My grades sucked this semester, so I might spend time trying to make them better but yeah I feel bad that I don't come on this site anymore.

When you get to college you'll have some time. That is if you don't have a job.

sup dudes, glad to see some familiar faces : )
@green, is this your first year in hs? in my experience, high school is a lot closer to college than
middle school, in that you get used to a certain rhythm of the classes, and then you can start squeezing
out extra time to dick around or whatever. but yeah definitely get your grades in first, sput is a fun
place (or it was idk anymore) but def not worth sacrificing your grades for.
@toon yeah but for him that's a long time away lol. high school lasts forever, compared to college which
is speeding along like crazy. it's crazy to think i'll be done with my BS in about 15 months... man

that was high school for me. i really thrived in the forced socialization which sadly doesn't happen in college. maybe if i'd been more involved my freshman year but after that i've been super busy with classes and work and research and shit. idk i just don't have a good set of friends i hit up everyday or even every weekend. probably something i need to work out some time in my life since i'll obv never be in a high school environment again. my 10 closest friends are probably all high school people and we're 3 years removed from seeing each other daily.
this is depressing, clearly i need to find a girlfriend and usurp her friend group

I had no friends for the first 2 months or so of college, best way to make friends is to throw yourself into every situation possible no matter how uncomfortable (karaoke night, campus dances, clubs, organized dorm events, etc.). Eventually you'll stick with a group of people. At least that's how it worked for me.

Yeah I mean go to the boring stuff to meet people, it's when they invite you to their party to get shit faced that you actually develop meaningful relationships. Like I went to fucking bingo night or some shit fall semester of my freshman year, which sucked but I ended up grabbing food with some of the guys and chicks I was sitting with. Next thing you know I was throwing back shots of tequila and making out with some short blonde chick which was just a fling but she is still a good friend to this day. /endlifestory, just saying sometimes good things start out really boring
