First album is black metal with a kind of urban/noir vibe. .neon is similar but more gazey and jazzy. Agape is less bm or more doom but keeps the noir/jazzy vibes. Melting Sun drops the jazzy stuff and sounds more like the recent singles, warmer with all clean vox and some proggy elements

i see the jazz comments so often not just on this site. regarding agape. is it just playing on the closed hi-hat? the improvy bits in you feel like memories? there are no actual jazz elements as far as i understand jazz

I'd agree they've gotten progressively weaker. LF > Mag > Lich. Also agree its a weird single choice and weird to release the closer. It almost has a "special edition bonus track" feel to it
