Bloc, his performance on Catalyst for that remembrance concert they did a few years ago was also awesome. He could honestly fill in if LP ever wanted to go forward.

RIP hard. I bought his book "Traveling Music" sometime last year and started reading it before getting sidetracked. Finally got back to it on the weekend and finished it. He's a terrific writer and the book has great insight into his relationship with music. Here's a list of bands/musicians he liked which I found pretty interesting:
