anyone else annoyed they chose the dope beat as the single when it is the only song on the album that already had a remastered version floating around lol

Fwiw my ex met him around 2015 when we saw their show in Memphis and I was off talking to friends or something. Said he was very cordial and took a pic with her. The only particular story that ever rubbed me the wrong way was them locking in the Youtube drummer Adam Tuminero (OrlandoDrummer) for a touring gig, letting him learn all their songs, and then ghosting him around the time he was supposed to take the flight. Pretty shitty.

That's pretty damn lame I must say. They must have had a falling out otherwise that's bullshit.
Jason seemed pretty down to earth and funny on Jeremy Bolm's podcast, dude has hella energy but he's super nice. Idk about the rest of the band
|
| |
hard to say when the other band members were constantly revolving in and out because he was tough to work with lol. but yea new mix rips

@Jay, pretty sure it wasn't personal, just lame and unprofessional. I haven't watched the vid in years. I looked for it a second ago, seems he took it down, but Adam said they just stopped responding, no kind of falling out situation. They ended up with another dude who I'd say was of comparable talent and definitely hit harder (so probably better suited all in all), but it bummed me out at the time because I was big fan of both Letlive and OrlandoDrummer.

The feature on the Dope Beat remaster is bloody awful, I much prefer the original version.

Remix sounds less offensive than the original but surprised how much twang they took out of the guitars tbh

Anyone else think the remaster still kinda sounds not that great

I intended “less offensive” to imply some degree of offence remained! It’s not my favourite remix, but I presume there’s only so much that can be done with these stems / budget without re-recording.

it's probably as close to Fake History as they could get without fully re-recording yeah, I'll take it tbh
forgot how sticky that chorus on White America was wew lad
