Dos would probably be a 0/5 if it wasn't for Stray Heart. I consider Uno to be bad for how basic it is and how terrible the songwriting is (Kill the DJ springs to mind) while I'm actually alright with Tre.

Yeah the only two songs I ever listen to off Dos are Lazy Bones and Stray Heart. Tre is actually ok, I have it at a 3 I think.

I could kick Billie Joe Armstrong's ass

Kill the DJ brought Uno from a 2 to a 1.5 for me because Billie is a hack.

A third political punk rock opera would be interesting now, since Billie apparentlhas strong feelings about tronald dump.

I dunno man, his political ramblings only worked on AI for me.

Dookie, Kerplunk, Insomniac and AI are all excellent stuff
what about Nimrod man? That's always been my fav along with Insomniac
|

Nimrod is pretty great as well, the worst out of the 5 there though.
The entire trilogy was fucking terrible, a select few okay tracks and a shitload of filler.

I miss this album. Such a goodie. I jammed to "Whatsername" for the first time in ages today. Still as good as it was back in the day.

Yeah, this is the album that got me into rock music when I was about 13, before that it was crappy pop haha.

Uno is bad, dos is even worse. Tre is not THAT bad though. X Kid and Dirty Rotten Bastards are excellent tracks, and the album doesn't contain any of the really horrible ones (Nightlife, Kill the DJ, Makeout Party).

Nightlife is horrific beyond words. Someone kill it with fire.

This is a tough album to rate because outside of the singles (Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Holiday, She's A Rebel, Wake Me When September Ends, etc.) there wasn't much here to this album I cared about.
On the other hand, this is no doubt one of the most successful albums of the 2000's.
Name me one other album out there that has it's own musical.
Yeah I didn't think so.
Pretty decent album all things considered.

Lol, what the fuck?
Also, She's A Rebel and Wake Me Up When September Ends are probably two of the least interesting songs here, on the other hand you have a song such as Letterbomb, that everyone seems to have forgotten about in time, that's one of the best the band's done.
