yea, I mean, the burn shit fuck the system damn everything to hell isn't exactly a political platform, but to say you only gave them a 3.5 because "lyrics are important to you" really doesn't make sense to me.

they make a lot of poignant remarks throughout their lyrics. obviously the end of 'killing in the name of' is largely just them getting riled up, though repeating "And now you do what they told ya, now you're under control" earlier as a justification for getting as angry as they did more than excuses the radical behavior

There are obviously other reasons, mainly the lyrics and I don't dig Bombtrack or Settle For nothing.

Seriously, a 3.5 is still great, so I don't understand people jumping on my back because of it.

I think it's kind of dumb when people criticize this band based on lyrics and/or their message. Lots of folks will sing along with songs about murder, rape, or drug abuse without a second thought and never do any of those things themselves. Why can't you also enjoy revolution in the realm of fantasy?

I don't understand how the concept of revolution became a bad phenomenon. People seem to imply that

it must be a violent, ugly thing. Even then, revolutions are pretty important for evolution.

Our current society isn't exactly the end point of civilisaton. If anyone tells you otherwise PUT EM

UP AGAINST THE WALL!

Hrm, I mean, give them a hug and explain things to them.
