The hype pipes, murderous nighttimes
And knife fights and blight crimes"

Love how this album is short and sweet, a lot of Hip Hop LPs are way too long.

It genuinely baffles me that anyone could say that this isnt the best hip-hop album of all time. I cannot think of any album that comes anywhere near it.

I can't believe you haven't heard Ready to Die omg

RtD is also a stone cold classic, but it does have some tracks that easily make it worse than this.
Also the short tracklist for this album is one of its biggest advantages

Reasonable Doubt and Liquid Swords are the only ones I like more than this.

New York hip hop from like 92-96 is even better in the winter tbh

Totally agreed. Old school hip-hop sounds the best in winter. That's when I listen to it most of the time.

I'm from the west coast and even I'll admit east coast hip hop is generally better.
