Starting to realise how much of a sucker I am for non-rock/metal instruments (or sounds, i.e. synths) seamlessly incorporated into rock/metal music. Getting the balance right is obviously tricky, but when those ‘progressive‘ elements are done right, my word is it incredible. And I don’t just mean the odd track or segment, I mean when it feels like a proper fusion (like this).
By this point I have about 6 x top 50 (conservative) all-time contenders that fit that general pattern, lol.

This one is the easy pick as best KC for me. For the most time I would've said that ITCOTCK was the obvious second place but I don't know, Discipline is up there nowadays as well, almost on pair with ITCOTCK
