Well yeah the ballads have always been cheesy but even the heavy songs are usually cheesy now too. The Dark Eternal Night? The Count of Tuscany? As I Am? Not necessarily bad tracks, but wow there are some embarrassing parts in those songs

Just cos they're a bit heavier (they're not really any cheesier, it's just worse cheese) doesn't mean they sound a lot different. DT never really changed their formula at all, that's half the problem with their more recent releases.
