What do you use for DJ equipment and software?

I'm taking an electronic music production course at my school, and I'm using my professor's equipment for now. A really simple Traktor controller with the software on my computer.

Once I've been doing it a bit longer I'll invest in something myself, but I'm just now getting into it all. I've really enjoyed it though. I only have playlists at this point, but once I better understand what I'm doing I'll add my own spin on it.

It's definitely possible - I haven't seen it yet, but I'll find out for you.

Right now that's all I have, the Traktor S2 with software, I got it used for a really good deal. DJ gear is so expensive, I want to get away from the whole laptop (or in my case desktop) computer DJ'ing and get some CDJ's and a proper mixer, but money don't grow on trees where I come from so I'm stuck with this for now

I know what you mean, man. There are some kids in my class that have really extensive software and equipment, and I definitely can't afford that shit right now. I'm focused on other things right now, anyway - I love music and performing but there's a lot of other stuff I'm focusing on these days.

Good thing I have my own opinion ;) didn't expect you to like it Dev, that deep dark minimal dubstep sound isn't your jam, we get it already :D

Just don't really see what's so special about simply slowing the tempo down. Outside of that, it's almost a carbon copy
