Excited for the new album, heard it's supposed to be coming out sometime around January. Still bummed though that this band won't be having any harsh vocals anymore, Neige's harsh vocals are incredible, especially in Percees de Lumiere.

Man, I really liked Neige's screams too. Bummer, indeed.

I love Abysses so much, such a perfect ambient interlude. Wish they'd make more stuff like that.

the first two tracks are worth 5/5

after that it gets increasingly worse as the album goes on to the point where it's almost heartbreaking to see the first two amazing tracks' potential totally wasted

Just seen them last night, and yeah I think Neige has Akerfeldt syndrome.

This was the main song I wanted to hear and sadly the screams were kind of weak.

The only track I don't really care much for is Solar Song, everything else is perfect.

Argh, shame to learn that there wont be any harsh vocals on the new record, Neige's shrieks really are something else. Hoping musically at least its more akin this, didnt enjoy Les Voyages all that much.

Maybe not. But it's nice to have a contrast. It brings a more human quality to it. Sort of like him expressing his realization that he feels stuck in his conceptual prison and he's ready for it to end.

That's what I get from it.

I love his harsh vocals because it sounds like there's so much emotion in them, more so than most others I've heard at least. His harsh vocals in Percees de Lumiere especially sound kind of painful, almost a little tortured, but then the music has a more uplifting and hopeful sound. I would give a better explanation but I don't want to sound like a pseudo-intellectual or anything like that, it's just what it makes me feel.
