So much half-baked sounding trip hop on Humanz. There are a lot of collabs, which makes the underdeveloped nature of it even more disappointing. Some of them are the worst and most grating moments of the album too, like the screeching vocals in Momentz and second half of Submission.

I've also never been a fan of breaking up an average length album like Humanz (40-50 minutes) with a 10 second interlude every two songs, and the real songs being so quick and underdeveloped much of the time leaves a pretty underwhelming experience. Ascension and Carnival are decent, but don't really go anywhere beyond what you hear in their first 15-30 seconds.

I'll keep listening though. Maybe it'll grow, cause there are a few great songs for sure.

The Humanz leak does seem to be pretty low quality. I'm hoping the real product will have better production, and maybe will sound better.

I haven't even heard it in full, just checked out random parts and forming my thoughts on it so far.

Charger is a great track and the feat. works great even with little to do she actually does her job at bringing the song together.

That reminds me when 30 seconds to mars this is war leaked, and I wanted to believe that the album was awful because it was not the official version of the album, when I realised it was, I stopped following them.

Yeah Charger is one of the better songs. Busted and Blue is cool too, I bet it'll sound better on a higher quality copy of the album being slower and more atmospheric.

Talons, you'll like the official release better. I had a similar problem, heard the vinyl rip and was scared, then checked the listening party, higher quality leak and finally was able to enjoy the songs.
