i don't get why alot of people are saying crystal morning is one of the best off the album, yeah its an awesome song but its pretty much standard DEP unlike gold teeth, widower and farewell, mona lisa which all offer something a bit different, but oh well, just my opinion.

For me, the "catchy" Dillinger songs get old very fast. The hectic songs are always a blast to listen to though since there's so much going on.

I wouldn't say its "boring" but for reasons unknown this didn't really interest me for too long.

Tbqh, this band has never done anything for me. I will give them this, they are amazing musicians but I just don't find any interest in spazzy. freakouts. Just not my style.

My thoughts exactly. Though I'm not sure whether I should lower the score just yet...

yeah we are like politicians, untrustworthy. And I go against the grain of every other professional review that you may find more 'trust' in: http://www.metacritic.com/music/artists/dillingerescapeplan/optionparalysis

Hahahahaha actually, alot of the staff around here are pretty good with their music choices. They speak for the majority while the minority of us that disagree can just suck it up and whine hahahaha.

Heretics cried, "unobjective, unobjective", but the townsfolk themselves were blissfully unaware that they too supported the easily masked concept of subjectivity...

Besides, a review is just one guys opinion on the music. People place too much stock in reviews

Thank you^^^^^. I actually enjoy reading the staff reviews, even if they are a bit inflated.

Reviews are only inflated (or deflated) because you don't share the opinion of the review. Staff reviewers are enjoyable reads, yes, and that's why they're staff. But you still can't expect to fall in love with everything a staff writer does because everybody's experience with any given album is different.

I say 3.5 by the way

Exactly. Glad someone was mature enough to point that out.
