But generally if they feel that way they only like Dookie and pre-Dookie material so they basically refused to accept the band's evolution. That's fine, but I'm not going to listen to someone's opinion on pop/punk-rock who disregards the genre in general.

"This album sounds like American Idiot's little brother who is trying way to hard to be like him"
hahaha that is exactly what this is

Yeah this is not very good, AI is great though.

Dammit is the remaster for this great too. So much of the background noise on the songs is much clearer. Still have mixed feelings cos it's just too long for its own good considering that its plot is far more convoluted than American Idiot's
Hey Sowing, nice rating for this!

About 1.7 higher than it should be tbh.

Yeah multiple listens later and it's grown off so hard... The songwriting quality from song to song jumps from below mediocre and pretty good. Nothing out if the ordinary other than 21 Guns and probably East Jesus Nowhere

I think 21 Guns is terrible lol.

Ahah i always detested that one.
21CB 'horrible songs':
christian's inferno
last night on earth
last of the american girls
murder city
the static age
21 guns
american eulogy
see the light
The rest ranges from grandiosely average to minimally decent, so yeah a 2 pretty much.

I don't hate this as much as I used to, but it's still pretty bad.
|

Don't know if i hate this or the trilogy more. Probably the trilogy though.

this sounds like a green day album though. like, the production doesnt screw up billie's entire part on here though. like, the problem with this album has to do with the unnecesarily long, ambitious idea and lazy execution, concept of the album. uno dos tre sort of suffers the same problem, but it suffers many more along with it. if this was a stand alone collection of green day songs, it would probably be alright. like, the production sounds like green day, billie's voice doesnt sound as overproduced as it does during the trilogy, stuff like that. 21st century breakdown doesnt have as much problems as the trilogy do.
