I don't have any friends that would like Opeth

There is a rule of life, my friend:
If you don't like Opeth, then you will have at least three friends that do.
If you DO like Opeth, then you must double this score.
Literally, it works with everyone I know.

Death Magnetic is boring as ****. Bland musicianship, crappy vocals, embarrassing lyrics, Kirk needs to lay off the wah pedal during solos, guitar tone during leads and solos sucks. I could go on.

Much like the "needs more cowbell" joke, I think there should be a joke for Metallica that's "needs more wah pedal."

The sad thing is, that automatically makes it better than St. Anger. :D

I never overplay albums to an extent such is the case for this and Fortress among many others. That might be why I appreciate this album so much. This is the only Opeth album I can put on my car and jam too. Heir Apparent is pretty sick and somebody should rget around to reviewing the special edition of this for kicks and giggles.

I'd love to see the Bills do something this year, I think they've got a pretty heavy squad. Trent is putting out some mean numbers.

I'm glad you like this album balls, I know you're not an Opeth fanboy like the rest of us here lol. This IS their most accessible album methinks, and therefore the easiest to listen to. The mood and feel is kind of just there, as supposed to having to forcibly immerse yourself in it like on BwP
