Converge related story that happened to me a couple days ago:
While I was working this chick comes in wearing a Jane Doe shirt. Needless to say I was pumped that not only was someone wearing a Jane Doe shirt, but it was a decently hot girl. So I go up to her and ask her where she got the shirt, thinking she is going to say at a Converge show or online or some shit, but instead she says she got it at Old Navy. After she says that, she tells me that her friends ask her all the time "who the girl is on the shirt", and how she has no idea. I tell her that it is the cover to probably one of the best underground metalcore albums of all time and she just looks at me with a blank stare and says "whats that?".
So I looked it up online, and apparently Old Navy was selling a Jane Doe ripoff shirt, but they stopped selling it when people started questioning it. http://youthoughtwewouldntnotice.com/blog3/?p=1246
So yeah, I went from super happy to find a chick into Converge, to disappointed but hilarious.
