Yesterday I got around a 5x8 tattoo of the logo on this album on my arm. It's black outline and grey shaded and the center and outer areas are colored candy apple red and the three half moons around the triangle are sky blue.

I've been ready ever since Dustin said in Tulsa during the break up tour that in the future they would one day perform here again.

They released a picture on Tumblr or something like that a few months or so back that said "Thrice 2015." I'm hopeful.

That pretty much confirms for me. I hope they start recording soon.

I am looking forward to seeing them live at Hevy this year, if I do end up going. Re listened to this and the whole thing is really good.

For some reason Vheissu was the only thing by this band I could ever get into.

hmm, that's strange, this pretty closely resembles vheissu, just dissecting, and taken in a bunch of new directions.

Maybe I should give their discography another try. I actually have most of it, but like I said Vheissu was the only thing that used to get regular spins from me.

I was the same with Artist in the Ambulance for a long time, but once it finally clicked all their stuff was pretty fantastic.

I seem to remember thinking Beggars was pretty good. What would you say is their best?

My personal favourites are Illusion of Safety and Artist, but you can't go wrong with any really. Identity Crisis is probably one for hardcore fans really, good but not that interesting and not of the same quality.

I think The Illusion of Safety is their only one i've never heard.

Definitely give it a go. Depending on how much you like Artist, Illusion is likely to be a similar listen.

A lot of people consider Illusion to be the best Thrice album.

Aside from a few songs, I don't get the love for Illusion of Safety. A lot of is feels pretty... juvenile? It isn't bad, I just see a lot of people on sputnik claim it as their #2 from the discography.

I have a lot of connection to it, because To Awake and Avenge the Dead is the first Thrice song I ever heard, which also inspired my to start learning guitar.

I would probably rank it under Vheissu and Artist though.
