I discovered Converge in 2009, thanks to this site. I've seen countless lists of their best LPs with this album always being on them, and never seen one complaint about it being it included. it's obvious the album feels like a compilation, but I think that removing it from the LP section on this website does it more harm than good. I mean why now?

Saddest Day was the song that made me fall in love in Converge, and I doubt I'd be so enthusiastic about checking the rest of this album if it was labeled as a mere compilation. I mean the best songs on this album weren't released before, so the whole "compilation" label makes even less sense. but idk, maybe it's just me

What an ultimately pointless endeavour, especially considering you haven't even heard this. Very strange indeed. Ah well, this is now the greatest compilation of all time (probably), also I imagine it's the one on Sputnik with the most total votes due to this 'technicality'.

You can. Just click on "edit band information", and you can add or remove genre tags. They have to get approved by a mod first though.



Edit: Welp, nevermind. Apparently that only works if you were the one who created the band page. You could probably plead your case in the "for the meds" thread in the forums to get a genre tag removed.
