That is great to hear. What songs did they play, like was it more old, mid or new career stuff? Seeing In Flames next month with At the Gates and Orbit Culture which is such a great line up.

I might actually go see that show too, only to possibly see Stand Ablaze live lol. Also cool to have ATG and IF at the same show.

If we're talking clayman and back, only behind space, graveland, only for the weak. But I didn't hate some of the other choices like leeches and mirrors truth. And the new songs were solid. Only song I really didn't care to see was I am above. Unfortunately, that song is one of their biggest hits now though
The first half of the tour they were playing stand ablaze, the hive, scorn, and jesters dance. Would've loved to have seen that

Yeah, cannot wait, even if they play more of their newer stuff. I do hope they play Moonshield and The Hive though. First metal show as well which is pretty exciting.

I'd love to see Behind space too at least. But Stand ablaze would be incredible for me

Behind space was def the highlight for me. They nailed it. I feel like the older stuff got the best crowd response too honestly. Maybe they'll be further encouraged to play more old tunes

Damn that's wild. Last time I saw them everyone stood around like zombies when they played Gyroscope (I went apeshit), and as soon as Where the dead ships dwell came everyone started screaming lmao. It was hilarious

This thread makes me salty af since their gig in my country didn't happen (again). They have cancelled playing here 3 or 4 times over the years

Why? Your country still has covid-restrictions?
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
No its not because of restrictions. When they announced the rescheduled pre-covid tour they didn't include some countries that were on the original tour. I guess the increased cost of touring played a role but it could be something else
We also had to wait 2 years to get our money back lol

Oh damn that's unfortunate :/ I live in Sweden so I'll always have a chance to see them. But a lot of amazing EU tours completely skip the entire Scandinavia and play like 10 shows in Germany instead. Shit is so annoying. But I guess it's a money thing as usual. Because money is the single most important thing we have in our life, right?????????????????

Maybe it was my own personal bias to a degree but I definitely felt like behind space at least got a big reaction
"imagine 4ing this but dissing sabaton"
I've never met a single person in real life or even on the internet that likes Sabaton. Where does their fame come from?
