father knows best [2]

I have my dad to thank for a vast portion of my taste in music, probably wouldn't be into half the stuff I am now without him... possibly including Radiohead. He introduced The Bends to me at a young age and I was hooked, he more-or-less laid the groundwork for RH eventually becoming my favorite band

I mean my Dad showed me Zappa

Then again he also tries to force The Grateful Dead's many live concert tapes on me...

My dad's a deadhead too lol

I'm pretty receptive though, I enjoy a great deal of their tunes and their Wake of the Flood album is a near-classic in my eyes

Family rumor has it, the opener from that album was playing in the room as I emerged from the womb

My dad introduced me to at least half of the bands I listen to (I pretty much only listened to his music library up until about a year and a half ago, and I still keep up with a lot of what he listens to) so from my perspective almost everything is dad rock xD
