Haven't listened to these guys in ages but just spun a few of their songs and they are still pretty good. But I definitely do not like them as much as I did when I was 16/17. Excited to get to hear the new material though.

Song is good, but yeah, a bit short. Reminds me of a blend of Genesis and Urantia, but it definitely would have benefited from another minute with a heavier breakdown or something. Track as it is goes hard but also kinda goes nowhere lol.

When is someone going to write up about the new single? Where is the news around Private Music?

Damn they wasted 6 years to sound like Fleshwater

I beg to disagree with Sowing which isn’t new. It sounds like Ohms but has memorable riff. It most likely leads into another track. They went short with the album opener vs almost 6 minutes with Genesis. Honestly I think it is the perfect length and Chino sounds good. The production is better than it was for Ohms because they got the dude who produced DE and KNY to do it. Private Music sounds better than Gore already but that wouldn’t take too much to suppress.

Lmfao, they don’t sound like Fleshwater. This isn’t Deftonescore and the last album came out in 2020. Also, it is officially coming out on 8/22 of this YEAR.

homie stop being so negative got damn

Songs solid and a very good choice for a single but I’m for sure hoping that it’s one of the weaker tracks on the record

If you don't think this sounds like Fleshwater then you are thick in the skull. The production is nearly the exact same.

Deftones cosplaying as Deftones.

I wasn’t wrong. I was ahead.

You were tracking a date.

I was registering a structure that had already collapsed

New song is alright. I feel like I need to wait till the whole album to release before I can properly judge it.

Agreed. You can clearly tell at the end that it's about to lead into something, too.

It's fine. Sounds incomplete, might be cooler if it's a Part 1 of the next track.

The clusterfucky clippy production does not fit the super quiet vocals.

KNY was enough of this mixture of clunky guitar tone + repetitious note strumming for a lifetime.
