I can definitely see where you're coming from with that opinion, but I think that ending it with that static and solo is less fitting personally. I just think that Handcuffs is a lot less like the other tracks on the album by being so laid back and easy to listen to and gives a sense of detached reflection - as opposed to the sort of reminiscing/active recollection going on elsewhere - that isn't found anywhere else on the album. And that quality alone I think warrants its position on the album.
But I'm definitely in the minority with that opinion.

You still make a good case for Handcuffs. I guess I'm just not crazy about the song and that's the extent of it. Still a brilliant album either way, when I'm in the mood there are few albums that can hit harder

I feel like listening to this really badly right now but I'm definitely not in the mood to actually immerse myself in it so I'm conflicted I think I'm gonna listen to Deja instead. And agreed avon when I'm really in the zone with this album I just feel so hard.
