I mentioned grunge because I think it exemplifies MSLG's "heavy question". There were tons of louder bands in the 90's, but that didn't mean that bands like SG and AiC in particular weren't heavy.

I mean albums like MoP, PSBWB and StD are as heavy as it gets for the 80's, but this album was, quite possibly, heavier for its time than any other album ever made.
