Saw this band live yesterday and they were amazing. Star Baby live was something else. Carson played rock paper scissors mid-song with a body guard which was funny.

only thing holding their live shows back is their immediate fan base is still super small. even when i caught their headliner it seemed like only 1/3 of the crowd was actually familiar with the songs (and even less so when they played anything not on this album), despite a really solid turnout. will obviously improve with time

Yeah it likely depends, my first two shows seeing them had pretty lackluster crowds, but the third one was perfect. They performed at a hardcore venue off of OSU's campus, which has a strong underground scene. Good turnout and good reactions there.

Been nearly a year since i heard this, and that same day i fully embraced it. I lost my first rabbit Buttons. Im glad for this record and that connection and that particular awful time didnt become an association with this. Can the 2020s stop being this continous kick in the dick please

This record and the hype associated with it will always be a happy memory. I'm glad it's the same for you! One of the more entertaining Sput Hype threads in a good long while, and the band definitely deserved it.
