wildhund is actually creative. it doesn't sound like other bands. you can hear elements of stuff like devin townsend and hum, but it doesn't sound like them.
this sounds like shoegaze 101 meets post rock 101. it's so generic that it hurts.

I like Wildhund but you have to have a double standard to act like any criticism aimed at this doesn’t apply to that album. This is at least original, dynamic, and has great vocals. That album is so indebted to 90’s grunge it hurts it overall and that’s a shame because Melting Sun was great.
