Iirc the transition into Micro Cuts was butchered, was it? I didn't really like the remaster for some reason. But maybe I'll check it out again

Micro Cuts sounds like absolute dog shit on the remaster. It sounds TOO real if that makes sense. I liked the artificial, coldness of the original mix.

Like, the harpsichords come in too strong and its a major turn off.

It does. Taking bombast to the next level, especially because of the contrast between verses and chorus. Love it.

really forgot how much this bangs. the highs on here are peak music. this and absolution are great, just have a few lesser tracks that hold them back.

New Born is okay. The only tracks from this I ever feel like returning to are Citizen Erased, Bliss, and Megalomania

'citizen erased is one of the best songs ever'
Agreed, it's easily their best song

New Born is rather nostalgic, lost much of its lustre tho. Bliss hasn't aged all that well. Citizen Erased & Space Dementia are still tops. Microcuts is cool. I don't really care for Megalomania tbh. I guess it's okay.
Enjoyed the new album more than revisiting this tbh, which is not something I saw coming
