"what´s not cool is Loic breaking both his legs because some dum dums did not catch him stage diving lol. seriously, what the fuck crowd?"

So weird, height of the stage surely shouldn't be that high (guess it was), and did everyone move out of the way when he dived? I really dont get it, I could have thought surely that he would fall on someone to atleast cushion the blow or something... and breaking both legs, sucks so bad, feel so bad for him.

Loic's known for jumping off the friggen mezzanine and shit like that so it was only matter of time until some dunces came up short. so glad I caught them (literally) earlier on this tour.

Gave this another check today and I still feel like the first twenty minutes are so much better than the rest of the record. Why is it so stacked in the front?

those are def the highlights and it's a little disappointing to be done with the album's epic less than halfway through. on the other hand, the pacing works a lot better if you're playing Phan 1 & 2 back to back (as on the double-live album).

I believe the lengths of Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous are all proportionate to the actual time periods.

In theory I love the idea of splitting the album in two distinct halves. I don‘t think they quite pulled it off here, because the first two tracks feel so much more grand and epic than what comes after.

I know many people consider this a sin, especially with concept albums but I enjoy the album more when rearranged like this:

Holocene

Triassic

Palaeocene

Jurassic | Cretaceous

Oligocene

Miocene | Pliocene

Pleistocene

(removed Eocene because I don‘t really enjoy it)

I am going to give that a spin in your order Doom. I love the double live, it does work a lot better in that context. Still the production on this bad boy is a marvel

My favorite track here is the one with those sick synths that sound like Ecco the Dolphin
