It’s definitely not an immediate song, the very definition of a grower.

Shit Narnia, an Australian band just released a new album, Cloudbelt.
It is heavily influenced by this, and well work checking.

Wish i liked this more but I just think it's too boring instrumentally. I get Jordan is the main focus and he does pen some amazing lyrics here, but even then i feel like he is kinda just recycling his delivery/melodies a bit.

Just spun this the other day actually. I love it. I think his lyrics are at the top of their game here. Everything is so sparse and haunting that when some genuine riffing comes along it hits hard. This one is a grower for sure

Great album.this has actually grown to be my favorite of theirs — it’s just the most consistent. Wildlife does contain all their best songs though (King Park, Safer in the Forest, Edward Benz 27 Times).
Any idea if they have plans to release another LP?

id imagine theyre planning on following up after all the wildlife touring. turnouts for those looked incredibly impressive so i can't imagine them stopping yet
