Okay, if we're really getting down to brass tacks "soul" is a near meaningless nothing burger of a term. It doesn't actually refer to anything. Just that you think it had thought and emotion put into it, and pretty much all decent music does. I put some soul into a shit I took today, it was a crazy experience.

It's all reading like pseudo-intellectual, orthodox metalhead drivel to me.



You like good albums, but the more outside of your self-imposed box something is, the less open to it you are. You basically listen to the most genre-standard examples of whatever metal genre and the most sleepy-time, typical examples of classical and folk and call it a life.
