Kinda disappointing and why have they gone with the same producer and mixer as they did with this album? Sounds shite again.

just not a good track and Matt’s voice is completely shot. Syn and Brooks carry the hell out of that song.

Lol what a horrible song

"Come onnn this is the best they've sounded since like CoE. Can't really say the same for Shads tho so there's that lol"
Not a terribly high bar for their post COE work tbh

Should have retired and M. Shadows should have followed the Aaron Lewis solo plan lol.

"M. Shadows should have followed the Aaron Lewis solo plan lol." He should have started a shitty country career and became a racist?

I mean I probably would've been 1000x more ashamed of my old Sput handle if Shadows became a racist fuck

This album is easily the best thing they've done since City of Evil and it's hard to see them being as musically on fire on the next album, especially after hearing that single, yeesh

yeah really hoping the new single is just a one off and the rest of the album sounds more like this

I very much doubt it.
I don’t think it’s all gonna sound close to this just based on what Matt has said lately. And it’s not usual “oh this is completely unlike anything we’ve done before!!” PR bs

Copped tickets in the tenth row for the gf and I.

Thought this was average forever and it just randomly clicked and now I think it might be one of their very best? So weird.

that is strange! Decent album though!

Nice to see that it clicked with you Sowing. Still my favorite Avenged album

I like Waking the Fallen and Nightmare more. This kind of lacks the emotional punch those two have, but it’s so damn good otherwise.

The Nobody single really took me aback when I heard Shadows' tired pipes, but I'd be lying if I didn't say the song as a whole has grown on me considerably. Been coming back to it every other day at least.

anyone listen to the podcast punk rock mba did with shadows???
shadows says a lot of.... interesting things... but above all him constantly referring to the s/t as "the white album" probably irked me the most, as i have never heard anyone call it that but him lmao, thought he was talking about the beatles or something the first few times
as for the new album: it very much sounds like its gonna be s/t-esque mix of styles and that "nobody" will be a bit of an outlier on the new album based on how they talked about it. mba said he thought parts of the album had a "funk" vibe.
shadows throws a lot shit at people criticizing their production, basically saying he wants the album to sound "real" etc. and its why everything sounds so dry, his vocals so unpolished etc. on the "nobody" single and the stage. the production isn't botched its exactly how he wants it. also says the stage is the best thing the band has ever done.
