Is the new album out yet? I don't know if I can wait much longer.

Yeah it's October. Just keep wishing it was out today. I haven't listened to the new one yet, but Landslide and Mind over Mind are both nasty singles.

Landslide Defeater is one of the rare instances where the breakdown is my favorite part of a track.

God fucking damn that breakdown makes me want to put my head through a wall

I’m surprised they’re releasing so many songs prior to the release date. I’m also surprised to learn that the closing track doesn’t even hit 2 minutes. That’s the shortest closer they’ve ever had, especially when they’re usually really long and monstrous. Expecting to be pummeled in the face.

the last track is probably more of an outro and "Anna" is the last proper track? that and "Careen" are the longest in the tracklist anyawy.

I considered that too but I'd be happy with a really quick banger too so long as it still gives off the epic vibes they usually do on their closers.

Recording of All Hail. Jeff was present, as expected, and Cory is handling bass duties, which was a pleasant surprise. That instrumental jam they did was killer.

lol that Make Deathcore Great Again hat

also long time listener but never really paid much attention to the line up. what is going on with the band members, have they always rotated people out like that? i know the long time guitarist recently left due to substance issues, but where is everyone else

wiki lists 2 people

Pretty sure that this band started with a completely different lineup and none of the OG members are in the band anymore. Crazy to think about lol.

yeah i knew Josh Scogin left to do The Chariot way back when but honestly didn't realize they never had a consistent line up. like how many band members left to go play in Every Time I Die lmao

Cory has been with the band since their second album and some members have stayed for long periods, but it’s largely a revolving door. Cory said in one of their album docs that he considers Norma Jean a collective more than a band, which I think is a really cool way of describing them
