this album is underrated imo. it's got infectious riffs, great songwriting, great hooks and some of Chuck's best vox imo. avg should be higher than 3.8

SBG just doesn't get enough attention

Yeah sbg stands up amongst their best works imo. Leprosy is my personal favorite though

Their first 3 here just don't get enough praise. Basically every Death album should be 4+ but I think they get downgraded since people feel the need to rate them relative to other Death albums.

It's understandable from a ratings perspective, but Death defy the standard scale imo.
