So I gathered my courage and decided to listen to Down in a Hole:
Honestly, instrumentally they had some cool ideas with the piano and orchestral elements....but the vocals were just fucked. You honor Layne. You don't go around toying with classic vocal melodies and generally just doing a shitty job like that.
