"I'm starting to believe the ocean's much like you, 'cause it gives and it takes away."

-Thrice

One of my favorite lyrics of all time.

These guys just rolled through town last Thursday on a farewell tour and delivered entirely. I'd like to thank them for a 13-year span of consistently unconditional relevance in the vague, but vast, rock genre spanning through an important and largely overlooked period in music history.

I'd like to wish you luck in all facets of life and I am looking forward to any future endeavours that may unfold in the form of solo work or collaborations involving other artists with your caliber of creativity.

It is always good to see a band go out on top and cap off a career with one of the most solid albums in their catalogue to date.

Dustin, Teppei, and the Breckenridge brothers, thank you so much- I will forever be indebted to your creations.

Lovely quote sir. Water is by far the best of all the Alchemy's, imo. Although Air is a close second.

I'm very close to 5'ing this. I feel like it's another TDAG for me. Everytime I hear this, I get this

excitement like I've never heard it before.

If anything means anything, there must be something meant for us to be, a song that we were made to sing. There must be so much more than we can see.

If they decide to get back together after the break, I'm sure they'll write their best album.

This album is really overrated... I feel like its a bit too bland. Certainly not to the level of their other 4.1 albums on this site..
