I've always thought YFW was a bit underrated and this a bit overrated tbh

YFW is decent. It has 4 songs I like to revisit when in BN mood (Shower Scene, Jude Law, No Seatbelt Song, and 70x7). Everything else is kind of typical pop punk. Not great but not bad either.

This is my favorite of theirs. I would say Deja>Daisy=SciFi>Devil/God>YFW

Not that it really matters, but I will never understand the love on this site for Devil and God, and this is also coming from someone that has been listening to this band since Quiet Things was released as a single/video back in 03.

I get when people don't like albums that are considered "classics" by bands that they don't really care for, but I friggin love(d) this band and I don't see the appeal of Devil and God and that 4 5 avg it is still holding.

On a slightly related note, I have similar feelings about Anberlin and Cities. Been listening to them for years, too, and never really thought that highly of it.

Devil and God has some issues, but I enjoyed enough of it to give it a 4

The only reason I have it at a 3 5 is because it has two of my favorite songs of theirs. Otherwise it would probs be down at a 3 with YFW.

Damn ecna that’s harsh. TDAG is a hard 5 for me. But Sci Fi is the hardest of 5s.

It really only has 5 songs I like to revisit. Not only is Millstone one of them, but I also think it is one of their best songs, which is the main reason for that 3 5 instead of a 3.

I don't know, I have just never thought it was amazing or anything like that. I was legit surprised by that average when I first looked them up on here.

Limousine, Millstone, Sowing Season (Yeah), Degausser, and You Won't Know are my top 5 from TDAG so far.

Mine are Millstone, Degausser, Not the Sun, Archers, and Handcuffs, and the only song(s) I don't really like is Jesus and maybe Luca. Everything else is listenable, but I don't find myself putting anything besides those 5 songs on hardly at all.

yeah Jesus is kinda rough, almost feels like a Bright Eyes cut where Jesse Lacey's vocals are concerned at points.
