for me it was: 1st listen: fuck this is shit, 1.5. More Listens: ahh this is better, growing 3.5. After a while: Ah this shit is good, 4. Now its like 3.5, hasnt gotten any better or worse. I disagree with Black Lake Nidstang btw, best song ive heard all year, its incredible.

I have to say that you did quite a good review but I do disagree. I found this album highly enjoyable and extremely entertaining. This and Deathspell Omega's latest are the most listened to in my repertoire this month.

As an Agalloch fan, and I didn't even listen to this album until a couple of days ago...it is pretty good. I think the production on the album is not as great as the other albums, but there is some quality songwriting going on.
